Winter Fly Fishing Class Recap

Our first Winter Fly Fishing Clinic with FlyCast was a great success. We conducted the class at one of our favorite winter fly fishing rivers, The Blue River in the town of Silverthorne. It is a very technical tailwater that offers year around fly fishing. We like to guide winter trips here as it is a great way to improve your sight fishing skills and learn techniques to catch picky winter trout in low flows. The Trout Hunting techniques we used throughout the day will help anglers catch difficult trout anywhere in the country! All of the class attendees caught multiple fish and left with big smiles on their faces! Very small flies and light tippet are key to having success on this stretch right now.
